The link above is to the newly release website for the BRSAA.

This is not meant to be a historical documentary but, to simply show some of the other contributors and pioneers of the dance forms done back since the early 1970's.

The true sentiment of the BRS members is to show appreciation for the dance styles they/we were doing for so long, as well as, to thank everyone who just ever "busted a move!"

Special shout outs in the end credits are included to many other groups and styles because THE DANCE IS JUST TOO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than any ONE individual.

The DVD includes interviews with some of these pioneers/innovators and lots of great dance clips showing what they are doing.

The website includes an hour+ long radio interview with POPTART/DR PLIK PLOK while they were in Sweden recently. Also, a very cool 20 min video with some great dancing.

Doesn't stop with that. We will be adding more and more goodies so, please keep on checking. Like our dance, always a work in progress.

I'm proud and honored to have been working/helping on this project for the past couple years now with Lonnie-POPTART.

Hope you all open up your hearts and minds and just enjoy the show.

Sal, I just went back and watched this again, once again man, gotta give it up to you. So much talent, so much inspiration.

Highlights include the Black Messengers talking about their connection with Black Panthers, and listening to Granny talk about her passion for the dance.

And of course, hearing William Randolf break down the history of boogaloo and Oakland was something I've been waiting for for a while.

AAAAAAnd, the 'effin soundtrack is off the chain.
