Yeah I always found it weird when artists paired serious, even dark, themes with catchy beats. Really, we're supposed to sing along and dance to that now? I can imagine girls not paying attention to the words and shouting, "Ooh that's my song, it's so fun!" Eh well, good times... =\

A few pop punk bands do the same thing. Catchy ass songs about dark as ****.
