This is the Nurburgring.

If any of you played GT4 you know about it.

Its a real road in Germany that you pay 5 euro, and anyone can drive on it. It is the longest, deadliest, and most demanding race track in the entire world. It is so large, towns are built AROUND it. as you can see. All major motor companies rent out the 'ring to put their cars through torture tests on its 100+ corners.

a 8 minute lap is considered extremely fast. 8 minutes!

it is one of my life goals to rent a VW Polo and drive that beast one day.:cool:

a lap on the Radical. Basically a street-legal F1 car. Amazing

If any of you have ever done circuit or autoX racing, you know how hard it is to sustain that level of concentration for 8 minutes. It was hard enough when i did AutoX to sustain concentration for 3 minutes going a 1/10th of that speed. And the driver is checking his harness and waiving at other cars while he's doing it. crazy..

Randy Pausch professor at Carnegie Mellon (emmy went to grad school there i think) diagnosed with cancer just passed today. I'm posting his famous "last lecture" he gave at CMU. I'll let the video speak for itself.

This is very sad for me. Randy Pausch was a professor of mine at Carnegie Mellon, and was one of the two people who started the Entertainment Technology Center... where I spent the last 2 years of my academic life studying. I was literally swamped and drowning in a school meant to push students to their highest limits--100+ hour workweeks, tight conditions, ridiculous deadlines, and seemingly-unreachable goals. Randy was one of those people who you really dislike when he's your professor because he just pushes you SO hard, but realize soon after that you've been shaped into something even better. He was always known for awarding the best students with a "B," and always trying to get greatness out of every student he had.

He's truly an inspiration to all academic scholars, entertainment industry folks, computer science and HCI professors, and creative people altogether. He is probably one of the most brilliant people I've ever met and it's a sad day for us.

A Missouri woman says she has found Jesus in a bag of Cheetos.

A High Ridge, Mo., woman says she has found Jesus in a bag of Cheetos (video: MyFoxStLouis). Kelly Ramey says, "I think I found Jesus on a Cheeto as funny as that sounds."

She bought a bag of a local convenience store, and inside the bag she felt something unusual.

"I looked at that and I thought, 'Oh my that looks like Jesus on the cross.' It was just like wow," she says.

Family and friends agree with her. Her daughter says, "I thought it was pretty cool." But Kelly Ramey's friend, Sue Edelman, sees something different. "I looked again and I thought a horse head."

Kelly says her husband has a special name for it. "He calls him Cheesus."

Oh no, all the self-promotion! People tell me this was pretty awesome. I wrote and performed in my own one man show. I wrote it over the course of eight weeks, so it's definitely still kind of a work in progress, but more of a milestone of where I was with the writing then.
