hey everyone it's rebecca! you know, the tall white girl otherwise known as FBI or r-dizzle. what can i say, i love dancing:D
i started dancing when i was 2 years old and for 10 years i trained in the styles of ballet, tap, and jazz. i found those styles to be fun however very difficult for me to master and i was never able to excel in the manner that i had hoped i would. thoughout college i took various dance classes and even tried kickboxing (which i love btw) to try and find a dance i could really be passionate about and that fit my personality.
in september 2005 a friend wanted me to take ceech's dance class with him. i tried taking a hip-hop class at another college so i figured ceech's class would be just as fun. from the first day of class i knew that i had found a dance style that i could really connect with;locking. i had never seen anything like it before and i was so intrigued by the style and i loved it so much that i have been dancing with ceech every since.
i feel very honored that i am a member of DSP and one of the original members. it is such a great feeling to find people who share the same passion for dance. if anyone is wondering about my title, well at one of the auditions i said my specialty was choreography because i tend to pick up moves very quickly. well during the audition i kinda forgot the choreo...oops:p
a few quick things: sometimes i wear 2 pairs of pants to class, i have long arms so watch out when i pace:eek:, i love ceech's class, and i am very grateful to have met such great people and i hope to meet many more:)
