I just got an email back from the department chair at Mission College and she confirmed that Intermediate hip hop class in spring of 2009 is cut.

I'm asking those of you that wish to have the intermediate hip hop class to continue to write a letter stating why you think you would like the class to stay. Our goal is to get 100 letters. Whether you are in the beginning class now or intermediate class, if you can write this letter, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please have your letter signed and dated to proof their legitimacy. And please spread the word to people that can help.

When do we need this ? I will be at Mission College on Friday. If you can turn it in on Thursday, that would be great. Brian can collect them for me. Also, I have an INBOX at the part time staff's lounge on the second floor. You can drop it in my INBOX there as well.

For many of you who may not have time to wrote a letter,I can draft a letter on your behalf. If you cannot sign the letter, please take the time to email me your full name and last 3 digits of your student ID (look it up!). I will include it at the end of the letter.

Please copy/paste/forward this measaage to anyone you know in class since not everyone checks the web site.

thanks john. i got it. we are going to get the letter to the Dean of Instructions. it's just ridiculous that they would cuts classes with over 50 students and keeps classes that has only 7 or 8.

i won't be in class today. but can someone also help me start a petition ? spoke to Brenna, whom by the way has been an incredible help, and she suggested that we collect as many signatures as possible.

I'm going to ask Brian to help get that tonight.
