Hey what's up everyone,

My name's Phuong Le, you can call me "Lee". I'm a 26 year-old dancer/art director living in Oakland. Started out pop'n in 98. Kind of put it in a pause when I went to college to dance with Mobility (a hip-hop group at Davis). Kind of did that til I graduated in 2004. Started learning how to lock from vids and my cousin Bao (FlexFlav). Messed around for a bit, made a couple of short routines.

Didn't really do much for about 2 years when I continued Academy of Art. Met Tony Styles from Soul Sector over there. Never sessioned though. Anywho, after Art school, I worked in SF for a year, but had the "itch" so I auditioned for Culture Shock Oakland. Been doing that for about half a year.

So I guess I'm in between a bunch of styles. Pop'n, cambell-lockin and hip-hop. Right now, I really want to hone down on my funk skills. I feel like all the choreography I've been learning kept me loose enough to get back in it. Still working a whole lot but thinking about switching jobs so I can give more time to myself, side projects and boogie'n!

Alrighty! Nice to meet you all. I'm going to start attending the GrooveMekanix workshops/cyphers, so hopefully I get to meet all of you there!

Told him that I might head down to meet you up. I was wondering if it's cool if I bring him along as well. Yo whats up man! I was one of the poppers that showed up later that night at the groove mechanix session. I was one with the long sleeve shirt that brought the boom box if you remember. It was fun getting down with you and everyone else that night, I was surprised when I saw you poppin, like whoa! Good stuff, and hopefully be seeing you around more!
