Hey guys! Decided to hop on this forum since I know a few of the people on here and never registered :)
My name is Allan Tiņa. I've been dancing for about some years now. I started in Riordan HS back in 04 in their breakdance club, when I would just mimic other dancers we were with or on those I saw on T.V... I guess I would consider that my exposure haha. Back then I danced with Darren and some friends with Baliktad crew. And as of now I'm with Disco Dynamics.
I suppose a while into it, I began to get more determined. I wanted to learn more about the style of Popping and Locking but I was drawn more toward Locking because I became so fascinated with it after watching numerous YouTube clips and obsessive funk hahaha. It wasn't until I met Groovmekanex and some people from DSP like John and Brian when I really loved the dance. I would always get strong encouraging vibe when I would get down with them. Haha pure motivation. I also appreciate the fact that Groovmekanex always holds down sessions because that was where I was able to meet people and learn more. (sorry haven't been going in a while Doc! be there soon! haha)
ANYWAYS I've been to quite a few jams to hang around and meet people. But recently I've been working on choreography for Skyline College's PCN. I also have been getting into house lately just so I know the basics and feeling of it. I also find it funny how a lot of people don't recognize me ever since I cut my hair haha. Other than that I'm still dancing and expanding my dance vocabulary.
Oh and by the way... Nice to meet you all! :)
