Hello, everybody. My name is Heidi, but people call me Dil or Deeh for short.
I started dancing about 8 years ago doing Hula, and I started doing Hip Hop in high school. No cool stuff like I learn now. =) Just things a bunch of kids threw together, and called, "Hip Hop". Ugh, looking back, though a little scary, I can at least say I had things to do after school, haha. But I guess my actual training with people who know what they're talking about started almost a year ago.
I wouldn't call myself a breaker, popper, or locker. I have soooo much to learn, but if I was going to describe what I'm decent at or compare it to any styles out there, it would have to be things from groups like Choreo Cookies or So Real Cru. By no means am I saying I'm anywhere near that good, but hopefully, with Ceech's help, I get a little better each day.
In the end, I hope to just be called.. versatile. I wanna be able to do everything. Eh, maybe EXCEPT break dancing. Don't wanna break my a**. =P
My inspirations are... Ellen Kim and Mariel Martin. I love their work, and they epitomize strong, beautiful, talented women.
I guess that's all for now. I answered all the same questions Lil B did ;] and saw his youtube videos, too! Thanks, guys! Lol.
See you all in classss.
