Hello hello this is Nicole.
I started dancing when I was little--mostly did ballet--on and off growing up through adolescence.
Danced for my high school's varsity songleading squad for two years. Songleading is like the dance drill team but we also had pom poms and cheered on the sidelines at football/basketball games. Think Warrior Girls.
I'm just starting out in hip hop--took my first hip hop class a year ago at Ohlone College. But I am seriously hooked.
I switched over from Ohlone College to Mission College, though, because I love the funk styles!!!!!! And Ceech is THE person to learn from in the bay area if you wanna learn the funk styles!
And If I had never seen the DS PLAYERS dance at West Valley in APRIL I would never have gotten started. Thank you, Ceech, thank you, DS Players!!!!!!! Isn't it amazing how you inspire so many people and suck them into the culture O_O You're like a virus!!!!!!! A good virus, though!
I don't have a job right now so I'm taking all 3 of Ceech's classes this semester haha. My goal this semester is to start looking more RAW and funky when I dance--instead of like a cheerleader.
