What can I do in the Bay?

Hey all, after talking to Larry Pink we decided to get a thread going on what we can do in the Bay Area. Places to go? What to do on dates? Good eats? Cool shopping places?

I'll start

Daly City:
The place to eat: Lucky Chances, 2nd - Ling Nam

SF:
Everyone has to try shopping on Haight.

The Pier is always a good option. Also try Ghirardelli Square.

i highly suggest going to safeway and purchasing ingredients to make breakfast burritos. Perhaps if you and your date would like to take a stroll and/or go shopping - i highly suggest going to Milpitas' Great Mall. YOu put in a miles worth of walkage and also get to look at some new digs. Styles For Less, Corningware, Wells Fargo Bank - the mall has it ALL

Burger Joints - Nations in Hayward/DC

Malls - Valley Fair, Oakridge, Stoneridge

Beaches - Monterey Wharf, Del Monte Beach, Carmel, and Sunset

For Fun - Great America, Boardwalk, Bowling(the best lanes are in homestead, but I prefer mission lanes cause it's 2.49 on weeknights), Pool (best in the 408 is Santa Clara Billiards and Edgies)

For City views, my first choice would be hwy9 because there's a point in hwy9 where you can see ALL of the bay, from the bay bridge, to golden gate, and back to sj. but other nice places are Sierra and Evergreen.

Now if you wanna go to a place for a super special someone, where you dont want anyone to see you, I suggest going to Valco. HAHAHa that's been my secret spot for years and it hasnt failed me!
