I started my dance career after graduating from Berkeley. While working as an engineer, I discovered that my passion was in dance. So, I hope we at Nustudios can help you find what your looking for.
I very happy to have very talented staff members helping us in creating a positive online dance community. Our goal here is to share the dance culture with everyone that loves it. Meanwhile, we love to make new friends and hopefully get to meet some of you in person.
If you need to reach me, my AIM is on my profile. Look forward to meeting you.

Ceech is being too modest so I'll say something about him as well:
Ceech started dancing with Culture Shock Oakland alongside Gary Kendall (http://www.hip-hop.net/blog/142-rip-gary-kendall-jabbawockeez-crew) after college at Berkeley. After gaining lots of experience and knowledge about dance he went onto bigger and better things such as Mindtricks (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=219478586). (Some members of Mindtricks later became the group you know today as Jabbawockeez).
Ceech learned his poppin and lockin skills from The Electric Boogaloos (http://www.electricboogaloos.com/) and was/is able to showcase his talent worldwide. His influence extends to Machines Gone Funk (http://www.machinegonefunk.com/) and of course DS Players (http://www.myspace.com/dsplayers).
Not only is Ceech a great dancer, he is an amazing teacher as well. Not many hip hop dance instructors will teach you basics, what's an 8-count, how to dance on beat as well as being patient with beginning students. Of course, he also teaches intermediate, advanced dancers as well. If you want to learn from him, just be ready to get down :D

Yeah, Ceech is being Generous Ceech right now hahah.
This guy is one of the few folks who I consider a real dance teacher. He teaches you to dance, and you also learn to teach yourself along the way. His foundation in the funk styles is top of the class and if you learn from this guy, you will notice yourself improving big time. It's crazy how all the people I've met who have learned through Ceech keep getting better and better every time. Vote Ceech for president! hahahah

Ceech is the man. And that in itself is an understatement! One of the main reasons I moved up here was to learn from THIS GUY!! He knows his popping AND his locking (among a few other things!); a great teacher, mentor, and friend. You don't just grow as a dancer with him, you grow as a person. Definitely a huge influence and inspiration for me for the years that I've been dancing up here. Thanks man.

So much to say about Ceech... without him, I'd be taking some crappy studio "hip-hop" class somewhere, not knowing what it is to really dance and not know anything about the history and culture of funkstyles and hip hop. I've learned so much from this guy, and he's willing to share his knowledge and experience with ANYONE who has a positive attitude and willing to learn. Extremely talented, yet humble. This guy is so rare to have around. I love that he'll tell you straight up what he thinks. He would never sugar coat anything for you. Oh yeah, and he'll randomly call you up to play DS over wi-fi and more than likely, you'll find him eating at Pho Hoa, Tung Kee, or Sweet Tomatoes. Did I get all the usual spots? :)
Ceech is my hero! I'd vote for Ceech too!!!
Without a doubt, Ceech is the man. My first and only dance teacher ever, and I continue to come back. The environment he creates in his classes make it so easy to feel comfortable. His class definitely has helped me find an appreciation for dance. He drops a lot of knowledge in class that needs to be listened to. He's a great teacher, nasty/sick/dope/funky dancer, and a coo person all around.
He has my vote, fooorr shoooo.

Ceech is the godfather of DSP.
You hear only good things about this man's class. He is an amazing teacher, an incredible dancer, and a humble man. It's that combination that keeps me striving to be at his level, if that's even possible.
Everything you can learn about funk styles you can learn from Ceech. Just ask Marcus.

I, too, am so grateful for Ceech and his class. I was at first skeptical of starting dance in the bay area because I knew that so many good dancers come out of the area. After the first day of intermediate I knew I was in the right place. I'm always looking forward to dance because I have so much fun. So, Ceech, thanks for being B.A (badass, to all the non Dane Cook fans) and know that I will continue to work my butt off to improve as much as possible. Please let me know how I can improve at any time.

Ceech is my hero! hehe. He saved my dancing skills. ;) He is truly an inspiration and is one of the greatest/amazing dancers around. Not only is he a great dancer, but is a great teacher, mentor, friend, great person, just awesome all around. Ceech taught me a lot and he tells it like it is. I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't met him but I don't even want to know. Thanks for everything Ceech! :D
Ceech, you're easily the most talented dancer I've ever met in my life. I've learnt so much over the years from watching you and listening to your tips. And finally meeting you in Cali was a dream come true for me. I learnt sooooo much from our one session....kinda leaves me wondering how much I coulda learnt from you in a month.
Nustudios.com has come quite a long way man. I remember back in the day when I was starting out and people that posted here were myself, Ceech, Docklock and ofcourse, Geekdancer, Friedrice and Whitechocolate. I wish I could track down those guys and get em back here.

Master of the Universe? Damn, what else can be said about this guy?
Like a certain Disney song, Ceech really will make a man outta you. He will straight up say what he thinks of your technique, which is EXACTLY what a student needs. It can be a little intimidating (esp. if you've seen him dance, hahah), but all you need to do is show respect, and you're on your way to improving. He's a hella cool guy all around, and will beast on any version of Kart that's in front of him.
also: You'll never hear anyone say the word "wack" better than Ceech. Not even Shane Sparks.

if i could say one thing about ceech, and was limited by only one thing...well...
it would probably be in Aramaic - and it'd have at least like...seventeen secret codes in it for linguists to decipher for years to come. no no, but seriously.
Ceech's freestyles are awesome. Baseem, ellaa saabar naa d-etstebeeth yateer b-Lebeh d-Gabaaraa!

maybe some day i'll get to learn a thing or two from you :D. But considering that alot of the people on these forums are from the bay area, i'm sure someday it'll happen.

No seriously, "are" you a robot? Cause judging by all the drawings, you are the only non "person" in DSP.
No seriously.
