Every monday we, the groovmekanex, have locking classes in san francisco. Those who attend our classes know how much fun and personal instruction they get from myself and the other members of the crew!

How much are the classes ? Do we have to pre-register ? Is this class okay for beginners ?

The majority of our students are beginners of all ages and levels. So we welcome all. Pre-registering isn't necessary, just drop in and enjoy:)

As far as payment we are negotiating new rates on our studios rent, so we're not sure of the payment plan YET. sometime within the week we will have something solid down. so until further notice, ITS FREE:eek:

Hah!

no one teaches a certain day. its more or less "hey u want to teach beginner or advanced today?" Some days we do tag team teaching. where everyone teaches something and we put it all together into a routine at the end. Kinda fun for us and teh students. keeps em on their toes.

For now its free. Will change in the near future.

But again, we're all there for you. If you want to learn something specific we pride ourselfs in offering tons of individual attention.

This class on monday nights is very welcoming, friendly, and also very focused. The instructors from the Groovmekanex are very experienced, and explain moves in a step-by-step process that is very helpful for beginners and veterans alike: i know ive learned quite a few technical things from these guys, despite the fact that i already knew how to do a certain move, you just never stop learning! They teach locking choreography as part of the drill, and after that, break out into a free style session where you can dance, or even pick up game from other dancers if you so well please. The environment is great, and ive made a good many friends there. Seeing that ive been to their classes, and have hung out with these guys, my testimony here is of my very own experience. The class is a great place to meet other dancers, and learn history as well as actual dancing. These guys are chuck full of knowledge, so listen well!

The class changed my life, and hopefully you'll take away as much from it as i did. hope to see you there!

We are on a rotating schedual. every other week is classes. The other days are just sessions.

However myself and the rest of the groovmekanex are always pulled aside to teach those days anyways. I"ll make myself available to you if you want to come this week and just meet and get a taste for us.:D

Hey Mikey P n Sal/Doc Lock,

Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time away from your session to teach me and my friends. We all had a blast at the studio in the Sunset district. I remember telling you that i'll make it to next weeks class, but I just realized that I'm meeting up Ceech that night. So i'm definitley going to make it the following week at the session class. Again guys. Thank you so much and see you in 2 weeks. Finally! I no longer have to imitate locking. I can actually do some of the basic moves....CORRECT!
