How was your summer 08?

So how was everyone's summer? This probably doesn't apply to everyone yet but I just started school this week and i'm already pretty bummed. :p

My summer went pretty well besides doing summer school. That sucked.

But I got a decent amount of practice in. Best part was getting down in Japan haha. and the summer classes at mission were pretty hot this year. :cool:

This summer I survived the drive up to a house that seemed to be at the top of the world, all in the sake of chillin' with dance homies ;)

My summer been one f*cked up one, mostly in part because I had one internship lined up where they DESPERATELY needed my expertise, then 3 days before I was scheduled to start they called me up saying "We just had a general meeting and decided not to have the internship position at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."

You know, cause I was only depending on this for my livelihood.

So my friend made a few phone calls and found out that another company needed an intern, and they were like "Oh yeah this is perfect timing, we totally need someone to take care of our stuff." and I'm like alright I'm down but then delay after delay and then it was the middle of July and they said "Yeah you might as well look somewhere else."

Thanks for nothing -_-

But other than that I've just been taking it as a sign that I should spend my last ever summer vacation as a college student doing whatever the hell I want...why should I spend it working when I have the rest of my life to do that? >_> Plus this is the first summer vacation in a long long time where I haven't been tied down to a girlfriend, so I kind of forgot what I used to do for fun in the summer. =(

Hit up Anime Expo and about as many parties as I could manage to attend (which weren't many, being only 20), and of course, trying to pick up locking at groovemekanex' sessions/classes. Y'all are awesome and give me something to do on my monday nights =)

All in all I give this summer an 8/10.

my 08 was much better than my 07 thats for sure. My life is dope right now (aside from the broken elbow). and whats better is i did everything MY way to get it there.

1. Thanks to M.E for the past year on helping me break into the games industry. I finally landed a job in the right direction, next stop Nintendo.
2. Went to Las Vegas for Hip Hop International. Haven't been there since 02 so that was sweet.
3. I actually stuck to my workout plan and lost about 20-25 lbs, more things to add to me being awesome this year.
4. Announcement of Diablo 3.
5. Wall-E, Iron Man, and Batman - super special awesome!

dang, 20 pounds congrats. My summer kinda of suck. I spend most of my summer in a laboratory this whole 6 weeks. Start school this coming up this tuesday. I been at home the whole 2 in half week. LOL

Holy crap, you're right, there wasn't a summer jam! WTF?!

My summer went pretty well, to say the least. Probably one of my busiest and most eventful summers ever. =)))

- Kanye West with Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D., and Rihanna was crazy out of this world, almost literally!
- Sockhop was one of the most fun performances ever. =)
- Annual family camping trip was filled with drinking and laughing, just how it should always be.
- Home Land trip was super-fun! Finally entered my first competition!
- I suggest that EVERYONE go on a one-week trip to Disney World. Seriously. I'm planning to go in Dec. 2009 when they open the Harry Potter land, anyone else down?
- Thanks, DSP, for my birthday night at Strike, and the 24-hour hangover it caused. =)
- Got into the Credential Program at SJSU -- my reward is going back to school for another year and a half. =X
- And finally, the summer workout training program I joined finally paid off. My weight is still about the same, but I lost at least two percent body fat and gained a whole lot of muscle back. I can run a seven and a half minute mile and almost bench press my weight now! =D

Yea, I did. I was kinda of interest in something that I had learn and the other thing was like a bullsh!t like omg I already know all of the basic operating system it was hella bording. Hey Lil b, don't worried I think they will have bay area jam next year.

hah we were talking about go to DW next year. Went to Disneyland last week, people need to go on the 4D Toy Story ride in California Adventure. It was my favorite ride.

My summer was wonderful. My liver might not work as well as it did before, but atleast I had fun! Now what sucks is, the last 2 weeks of summer(currently) I got super sick and haven't been able to get out of my bed -_-
