Cleaned out too much cr@p just now. User: beextPhivehiz had hundreds of posts that slithered throughout this site.
I'm not impressed with hackers...bunch of wussies.
They are scum and serve no purpose.
...and, they must be destroyed.

Well, i'm pretty sure I cleaned up over 90% of the crap that appeared over the last few weeks. But yeah we gotta really do something about this.
I brought it up with Doc and Ceech before but i'd like to mention it again. Lockerlegends has it set up that everyone registered to be a member must be manually approved by a moderator. I'd be down for doing something like this until we start seeing a huge increase in numbers and activity on the site. What do you guys think?
Also i'd really like to start making more use of the site again. Let's start up some random convos (pertaining to dance of course) and post up whatever events and bay area videos we see. It'd be great if we could get this place populated and active again.

You and me both, Lil B. I've been deleting and banning with some serious hate comments hoping the posters actually can read what I wrote. Figure not as it's probably BOTS anyway (and not the dancing kind).
Yeah folks!! YOU ALL CANNOT BEGIN to realize how important this site really is.
NUSTUDIOS.COM was one of the FIRST dance web sites I came across almost ten years now which helped me REALIZE the DANCE WAS STILL ALIVE and LOCAL!!!
I would HATE to see this go away and worse because of FKN SPAMMERS!!
This is one site I tell new people getting into the scene about. It'd be a shame they were turned off by all those garbage ads and posts.
What more can we do to control this? Any suggestions?

I like Bizzle's idea of approving people individually? Cause' it has been getting so bad lately that I have been coming over less because, unfortunately, I know what I'm going to see.
If I can help, let a brother know.

yeah, its mildly depressing to come onto the board and click on new posts and always coming up on spam. I think its our duty as nustudio members to try and revitalize the boards. Lets bring up more conversations, people should maybe try to start some good discussions and get everyones opinions on things. Also, perhaps bring back the cyber cypher?

Oh the cybercyph is ON like DONKEY KONG! We are having tryouts on the 12th and soon thereafter we will be back to business as usual. We'll talk to ceech about getting that ish back up!

Yeah if possible i'd really like to make use of approving people individually if it's at all possible with vbulletin. Could we look into this Ceech?
And I agree Doc, this site is really important to me too as it's a place I had lurked all those years ago. Your vids were one of the first ones I saw too!
But it's really up to us to keep this place active and we have to stay motivated to do so. This place needs to be our "home". So let's make it ours and furnish it before we have a house party. =p

This was suggested by funky David Ho before. We still have tons of BS names in the Members List. Mods should have the means to DELETE rather than BAN these. Preferably by a link tied to the members list view. It's a pain to go into the MOD area and have to manually type in the username just to BAN them.
Was reviewing the BANNED list and found we had an innocent casualty.
Poor Elaine Mathews account was BANNED IN ERROR!!
....and I'm the one that did it too! :(:( Must have been during one of my mass sweeps and now I feel so bad.
Now I hate these Freaking Spammers even more.

The last metaphor there was deep.
