Hey all,

This is Mike F. from the beginners and intermediate classes for Fall '08.

I know its really last minute but I had a couple of friends who cancelled on me on going to the ABDC show in oakland.

So I do have 2 lower level tix available. It will be $70 each or $140 for the pair.

Let me know ASAP if you would be down to go or knows anyone thats interested. Send me a message and if you are interested, we will try to arrange to meet up. Any other questions, just ask me as well. Thanks and I appreciate it.

I went. The Paramount was pretty packed. The music was very loud, the stage looked good. There was a big screen on which they played flashy edited pre-made videos to precede each group's stage entrance.

It was really good, lots of snippets from favorite moments on the show, then they had an "Old School" section (they ALL did some locking! cool!)/"Future" section.

However, the cheeeesiest part of the show was when they had a "Battle Zone" section in which the MC was like, "DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE CREWS BATTLE EACH OTHER???"

And the crews went up against each other with elaborate premeditated choreography. Whatever.

Then there was this odd section where one of the dudes in Superkrew did a little set where he drank some Vitaminenergy water and then he dance/spazzed out. Cuz the tour is sponsored by Vitaminenergy water. Weird.

It was like a Vegas dance show. It had the same feel as...Sock Hop--if Sock Hop was a 13-yr-old teenage girl who was wearing a lot of makeup and slutty clothes in order to look older and cooler.

But the dancing was amazing, of course. Those guys are superhuman. Dancers are superhuman.
