Hey, this is Liz! (Different Liz than Skittles/M.E.) Gizmo's not my dance name, but something an old co-worker gave me. Started calling me Lizzie==> Gizzie==> then Gizmo evolved. heheh So yeah...
I started dancing when I found Ceech's class at Mission about 2 1/2 years ago. I always wanted to learn how to dance and take hip hop, but had no idea where to start. I took a couple classes from some studio before, and well, it pretty much sucked. Then lo and behold, I found Ceech's class and then I saw the light. Initially, I felt so out of place, cuz it seemed like everyone already know how to dance, except me. Then I stopped comparing myself, and just practiced harder in my old apt's studio. It totally helped that the people in the class were super friendly and always willing to help review/reteach the moves, so I could understand it. I'm a super slow learner, so they were all really patient with me. Ever since, I've continued to come back to Mission, and luckily made DSP. Everyone is SO talented and each brings forth their unique talents and personalities. I love hanging out w/these guys and enjoy meeting other dancers (new/experienced) along the way! Before learning from Ceech, my dream was to be able to perform on stage. I never thought I'd EVER learn how to freestyle and jump into circles. Without these guys, I would never have the balls (ok, I don't really have balls), to do this. Thanks guys!!!
Oh yeah, and I love my dog, Boba. =D

liz is a chillax lady, she came up quick with her popping, one of the few hard hitting ladies down here in the bay. One of the few ladies that are able to keep up with the boys when we playing mairokart on ds.

Ironically, "Boba" had his manhood taken away when he was 8wks old. You would think he would live true to his name, but no. We named him Boba cuz when we adopted him, he was curled up like a little black ball. Now he's about 50 pounds, and not so little. :)

Really, Liz has come such a long way in our dance community. She ALWAYS showed heart and now even more skills to boot!

Hey Gizmo/Liz! Nice to have met you. You're gonna have to reintroduce yourself when I'm down visiting Mission with Gary. I'm pretty sure I know who you are, but I've always had a bad memory with people, usually takes me a few times! lol! Anyways, anybody who pops is automatic cool status with me!

liz is my girl! you would never know that she didn't dance before coming to ceech's class. she practices hard and pops harder. somehow i always seem to stand in front of her in performances so if you don't see her on stage it's probably because i blocked her (sorry liz:eek:) she gets me back though with her quick wit and calls me out every chance she gets. seriously though, i appreciate liz for telling me how it is and for pushing me to trust in myself and my dance ability :D

I remember Liz's first day at class. I knew she had a lot of potential to shine. And a few years later, she's still one of the hardest working dancers I know. At the first DSP audition we were both really nervous, but she kept her cool and now she's an awesome popper and a much improved locker. Liz is a great dancer and a great friend.

she's so oh-some!!! she's the ladies' lady! dances super well, cooks amazingly, wonderful host, great friend, beautiful face!

Ever since I met Liz she's always been super chill and down to earth which makes it really easy for people to get to know her. I like Liz coz she will step up and take charge when others may shy away which shows great leadership skills. Plus she's always looking to improve and help others improve as well...kinda motherly even, but thats good coz then we know boba has a good mama.

Hell yeah, Liz is sooo down to earth....so easy to get along with. I don't think I met her and Allen until I first took the intermediate class in Spring 2006. From her popping to her locking, she has her own funky flava that's a joy to watch.

Liz is such a wonderful person and like others have said, very down to earth. She is an awesome dancer and extremely dedicated to what she does. oh and she does have jokes :)
