hell yeah, that's mah big bruh, breaking it down. just last nite, 4th of july, i took my family to the park to fireworks.. romy and michele were there with us as well. and there is the section of the firework where there's is constant crackling, we all saw this boy, probably about 7 years old, just moving his body like he was being shot by a machine gun. i was amazed coz it re-confirms to me that us human beings, we are natural creatures that reacts to sounds. and natural our body will move to sounds. few minutes gone by, and the boys mother went to the boy and told him to stop doing that.

i have a theory. i believe all human beings, by nature, love to dance. and i'm reminded of this from this clip of pete. somewhere along the line, someone such as our parents, told us to "stop doing that". and eventually, some of us obeyed. and yet some obeyed nature instead.

let me know if y'all feel me. and you don't need to be like lil mama to have swag to feel me. feel me ? hahaha

Poppin pete is awesome. Keep it coming guys!

Ancient Indian philosophy did mention the origination of the universe - at first through a primordial sound. And yes I agree with Ceech and Mr. PP, we do respond to sound/music at a very atomic level and we also respond and resonate with the the silence in between in between the sounds. Seems to me when you do locking moves, you freeze to that silence. Am I correct, Ceech?

Ya I feel you ceech. I'm still workin' on my swag, but I feel ya haha. I think music and rhythm is something we are born with (some more than others, ha). I believe you learn to be embarrassed or are taught what you should or shouldn't do. It's just like being racist or prejudice, it is learned. Little kids aren't born racist. It is something they are taught.

I really believe music is something you feel more than just hear. It's something I can say for myself, anyway (it's just a matter of teaching the body to move in the way I want it to).

thx john for the clip! I'm glad Ceech brought mentioned the kid in the park he saw, whose mom stopped him. Back when I was a kid, I went to a super strict religious school, and they taught us any kind of non-Christian music was bad, and of course, so was any kind of dancing. Music and dancing would lead to sin, so it was strictly prohibited. I struggled with this teaching, and as I got older, I learned to take things with a grain of salt. Sure there are SOME music and dance moves, which are inappropriate for little kids to be around, but it's wrong to generalize that ALL music and dance is evil. Now I'm trying to catch up and just appreciate the pureness of music and dance.

Hmm... did I live in the world of "Footloose"??? lol
