yeah, spammers seem to be coming back. i'll have to look for better spam blocks.

I think the problem isn't new spammer accounts registering, but existing ones that were already registered. The majority of our "Members List" is still spammer accounts, I think.

Look at all the accounts with 0 posts, random names, and odd information in their profiles: http://www.nustudios.com/forums/memb...asc&sort=posts

VBulletin needs to step up and do something about these spammers. This is getting beyond ridiculous and may be scaring away new folks. I met people at Hip Hop International and of course led them to here with the hopes they don't freak at the spam posts invasion.

The war continues....

i dont know if its just me, but it seems to be getting worse. is there anything us non admin type cats can do to help?

Is there a way to simply DELETE users rather than just BANNING?

Can't imagine why there wouldn't be.

banning them as spammers is better because it blocks their IP address. deleting them won't stop them from creating another user name.
